Restaurants in Siem Reap
Le Tigre de Papier
It is situated on the busiest street of Siem Reap, where all the bars and pubs can be found. There is mainly French food, but fused with Asian food, but most people know it for its great pizzas which are delicious. Also, you can attend cooking courses that are organized every day.

The Blue Pumpkin
The Blue Pumpkin is a perfect coffeeshop where one can have breakfast, have something to eat, snack, enjoy dinner, ice cream, etc. ... has a variety of cakes, pastries, breads, sweets, snacks, sandwiches ... The breakfasts are great and varied, and I recommend their homemade ice cream, I loved the 4-spice and cinnamon because it was SPECTACULAR. It also has free Wi-Fi and beds upstairs to relax in a modern and minimalistic setting. It is an excellent choice for a break after many days eating local food (which is also excellent, by the way.)

Le Malraux
Located in the heart of Siem Reap, on the main street, next to the Old Market is Le Malraux. It's a French food restaurant, but hey, as with all restaurants in Siem Reap there's a little of everything; Thai, French, pasta, burgers. It's open all day, for all meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overall the food was pretty good, but the service was a bit slow, even though the restaurant wasn't even full. It has a very nice outdoor terrace decorated with a variety of orchids and candles throughout. It's little a little hot out there, despite the fans, but the terrace is very nice. They also have an indoor area with an Art Nouveau brewery.

Street Food Stalls
If you're afraid of insects, better not go then. Wherever you go you'll find these unusual "food" stands that don't look too appetizing. They have cockroaches, grasshoppers, crickets, and spiders, all fried to kill the taste. You can also find some skewer of a tasty snake or duck egg with a fetus inside, in other words - a feast. Although I must say that you can eat tasty grilled corn on the cob, rice cooked in cane sugar, delicious lotus flower fruit (I don't recommend trying the durian, at least in a smoothie), and the most delicious and cheapest banana bread and chocolate cakes that I've tried so far.

Café Indochine
Located in one of Siem Reap's main streets, leading to the market, this restaurant is a haven of peace, with a lush, beautiful garden, and a Khmer-style house all in wood. It has several floors but we ate on the porch overlooking the garden. The food is a mix of local and international cuisine, we ordered a tasting menu with several dishes and everything was really very good and the price although expensive for there, was ok, about 35 USD. The service is great, quick and personal.

Phsar Chas Restaurants
If you stay in the heart of Siem Reap you have a wide range of restaurants of all types to choose from so you don´t miss out on any of the foods you are used to eating (except Mediterannean food, of course.) In the Old Market are you can find Mexican restaurants, Indian, Italian, Thai, American, etc.. The choices are varied and it is surprising that despite the fact that there is poor infrastructure in this city, considering the amount of tourists that travel there. These restaurants are good quality and obviously are a little more expensive than local food stalls, yet do not hurt the pocket too much. Often you have the cafe area on the first floor and the restaurant on the second so you can enjoy these lively and picturesque streets. In any case there is more nightlife than during the day. It is worth dining here to enjoy the streets.

Khmer Family Restaurant
Greetings travelers. To the east of Angkor Thom towards Lake Dawn and very close to the southern shore there is somewhere to eat that is fine. At this restaurant you can eat in the shade while sitting at table. It seems silly but really after a long hot day touring temples being in a place where you can relax a little is much appreciated. This restaurant is in an open shed, sheltered by vegetation. If offers typical Cambodian food but you can even find a dish that is essentially Western. In this place we had the opportunity to try dishes such as duck with honey. Cambodian cuisine offers distinctive flavors and is based on fish, meat, soup, and lots of vegetables and fruits. This family restaurant is very well attended and we did not have to wait for anything or to get served food. Prices, as you can imagine, are very cheap, you can easily eat for 3 or 4 euros (5 or 6 dollars since this is the most used currency abroad). I recommend it if you visit around Angkor.

Gecko Cafe
The Gecko Cafe has a colonial style, it looks like it may have been an old French shop-house. The restaurant is on the first floor floor and occupies a terrace overlooking the street. They have western food, burgers, pizzas, burritos and nachos. It is not expensive and is a good choice to take a break from the local food if that's what you want. On the ground floor have a small shop which sells souvenirs and offers bike rental.
Cafés in Siem Reap
Cafe Central
Situated in a corner next to the market, is a great place to stop along the way after a long day of shopping, is the best place to get coffee in Siem Reap, for those of you ve are coffee-lovers. You can also grab something quick to eat such as pizza, hamburgers, and milkshakes. Another important thing is that it also has Wi-Fi. It is usually quite busy because it´s nearby the market.

Eat at Khmer Restaurant
You can find this restaurant on the road to Siem Reap Airport very near one of the entrances to the Angkor complex entrance. It serves quality classical Cambodian food in an air-conditioned room, which I appreciated. It is decorated to suit its exotic feel. At the bottom of the dining room is a mini shop selling souvenirs made by disabled people, they are expensive but it seems that the profits will go to a good cause.

Cambodian Soup Restaurant
When I got to Cambodia, I didn't expect to find much more than the Angkor Wat temples, and I was greatly surprised by the country. I loved the people, the culture, and of course, the delicious cuisine. Some of the dishes here, particularly the fish stew, are among the best I've ever tried, anywhere in the world. I was staying in Hotel Siem Reap, close to this place where Cambodian cooking classes were available. It's pretty easy to find, on the main street of Siem Reap - Pub Street. The course costs about $10. You learn which ingredients to buy, and then you are taught to prepare three dishes. Best of all, you get to eat what you've made, and you receive a souvenir t-shirt. I loved it. They have two classes a day, in the morning and afternoon. Book in advance, as it's popular.

Angkor Palm
Located in the old market area you can this Khmer food restaurant. Awarded restaurant of the year in 2006 , it is a restaurant included in the travel guide "Lonely Planet". It had a good atmosphere with fast service serving the food in baskets which is the typical way to Cambodia. Cambodian food is essentially similar to but varies from Thai in terms of how they combine the spices in preparing food. One way of getting feedback from customers on the premises is to read the reviews written on the walls, an original way to make your mark as a symbol that you visited.

Home Cocktail
Situated 100 meters from the road No. 6 on the first street parallel to the river and near the Claremont Hotel we found this restaurant. There is also laundry service and souvenir shop. It is a place of locals led by a young very kind and friendly man with an outdoor terrace and a restaurant and bar inside. The hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and offer the opportunity to have eastern and western style breakfasts from about $ 2.5 to $ 4 including juice and coffee or tea. For lunch and dinner menus are also available to Cambodians and Europeans between 4 and 5 dollars which are very complete. They also have fast food such as hamburgers and stuff for $ 2 more or less. The best thing after a long day is to relax on their terrace where you can enjoy a cold beer or a cocktail at cheap prices. This place was special since we had a good relationship with the owners and being so close to the hotel we visited several times. Recommended restaurant for lunch which will be quiet and calm and not have you in a big rush.

Les Orientalistes
This has a reputation as the best restaurant in town, so I went to try it during our stay in Siem Reap. After eating out twice a day all week, I can confidently agree that this is the best, and certainly the most welcoming! The portions are large, and the decor is beautiful. Try the delicious prawns!

Amazon Angkor
Located in the heart of Siem Reap, is a restaurant show where dinner begins at 18 h, and ends at 21h. The Buffet is traditional Cambodian food of a certain quality (I recommend the fish soup), as there is also an open kitchen preparing the dishes in front of the customers. Additional meals are buffet style on two counters on either side of the dining room. It is advisable to book it and try not to go later than 19 h before the show starts. A recommended place to spend the day after seeing the temples. On the big stage the most genuine Cambodian Khmer folk dances can be seen and at the end of the show the dancers let themselves get photographed with customers.

Viva Restaurant
This is a great Mexican restaurant, recommended by a friend, where the application of spiciness is so respected that they serve (very) spicy food. The food (nachos, quesadillas, and a meat whose name I forget) were very tasty and the margaritas only costs 1.50 dollars. The atmosphere is super nice, thematic, and night tends to be even more lively. Recommended!

Khmer Idea Restaurant
The restaurant is simple, cheap, and the food is tasty, found in the Pub street! It was not the best to look at, but I can assure you that the food is good, so if you're interested in having an economic and hearty dinner, this is the place, as you save without suffering! Besides cold beer for $ 0.50, you still get 241 cocktails!
