This is a typical Chilean bar (there are several in Santiago from this brand) that is truly welcoming. Decorated with historical artifacts, this is the ideal place to go out to have dinner quickly and have some beers. It has a nice ambient, warm music. It´s a place I more than recommend. It´s very interesting.
This is a unique, unforgettable place - a revolving restaurant in the Providencia neighbourhood. You can rotate while you sample the delights of Chilean cuisine. It's an incredible feeling, with the breathtaking Andes as a backdrop to your dinner. Made all from glass, it offers a panoramic view of the Chilean capital, but the mountains really stand out. Since 1981, this has been an icon in the city of Santiago, attracting thousands of visitors to the top floor of the Santa Maria tower. As well as international cuisine, the menu offers good Chilean wine. If you don't have a huge budget, try the menu of the day, and you can still appreciate the great views.
Everything we ate was rich in this Peruvian restaurant, from the pisco sour, ceviche, shrimp risotto and desserts. The place was packed with people, too much for my taste. The space was a little tight and it was too hot and poorly ventilated. If these details were sorted out you really could enjoy the excellent food more.
The food is tasty and healthy. Good sandwiches, dishes, desserts and pastries. Everything is recently made and flavorful, it´s in the center of Santiago. If you arrive before 13h and have lunch they give you a free fruit juice, also with each plate they give you a soup, piece of chicken or vegetable soup. The food is homemade and the desserts too, those types of desserts that you cannot seem to make at home. Cheap and excellent quality.
This restaurant has become famous among Brazilian tourists going to Santiago; indeed, if you're going for your honeymoon, it's an almost mandatory stop. The reason for that is that it offers food that is said to be aphrodisiacs. The atmosphere is just great. In addition to normal tables, the restaurant offers two long tables - but if you're going as a couple, don't worry; the long table is usually reserved for large groups. There's romantic lighting, too. The food was good, although not as outstanding as the environment. The best things for us were the drinks - try the one with rose petals - and the rich desserts, with plenty of chocolate. As it's famous, you'll have to make a reservation before you go.
A very nice and friend place. The food is exquisite. The bread have different flavors and are very good. The rice with fruits and the seafood with almond sauce are fantastic. The appetizers are very good also. The dessert was pistachio ice cream, a very special ice crea because it´s made there. What I liked most about this place was that although I had gone many times, it is always exquisite.
Caribbean cafes are quite unusual; they are designed for men (although women are also welcome), as all the waitresses are dressed in miniskirts - very, very short. The specialty here costs 40c, and is half-hot milk and half-coffee. There are no chairs or tables to put your coffee on, but the coffee here is known as some of the best in the city.
Cafe Con Piernas has become famous among locals and foreigners alike. Dating back about two decades, it has dark windows and a neon sign that simply says "Cafe". Inside young women serve the drinks dressed in small bikinis and greet customers with a warm kiss. It's quite the experience.
It is far from the center of Santiago, you can find this charming restaurant set-up in a fairtale-like house. There are various gardens with fountains to walk by, games for children, and excellent food like delicious chorizo.
A beautiful place, elegant, and full of details. This restaurant is especially nice for a romantic dinner or for a special conversation. From start to finish the food is very rich and very well presented. Before you go search the internet and check out the good reviews, as the place was so nice. From the bread being served, the glasses of wine, desserts and entrees, everything is done with tasteful details. It is a different place with its own style.
Very excellent chopped seafood, to start we had an appetizer of clams with parmesan and then a salmon dish which was good and strong enough. The prices are very affordable, there was good service and the place is cozy, finally I recommend to come for the curanto chilote they cook from Thursday to Sunday.
This is a very old location to drink tea, the area is full of myrtle trees and nature. It's a very nice place to go with children as it has some games. In winter the fireplace is lit, so it gives off a very special atmosphere have hot chocolate with a good sandwich.
